The Cuban Missile Crisis

The Greatest Event of a War that Never Happened

Nuclear War

The Cuban Missile Crisis is promonate today in a few ways. One of them is that there might not be a world if the Cuban MIssile Crisis wasn't handled the way that it was. If there was nuclear war, every country would need to pick a side which mean they would be attacked by the opposing side. The entirety of Western Europe sided with the United States, because they all believed in the idea of capitalism.  This would cause the Soviet Union to attack Western Europe along with the United States. The majority of countries that were apart of the Warsaw Pact would have sided with the Soviet Union causing the United States to attack them as well.

Cuba

Without the idea of housing missiles in Cuba, the Soviet Union might not have included them in an alliance. This is because Cuba had a very poor economy with no resource that would benfit them if they exported it. And since Cuba had a communist economy, this would make more country be more reluctant to trade with them.
